The San Francisco Ferry Building Marketplace and Farmers Market Excursion includes local, seasonal tastes from artisans and farmers made available only to Edible Excursions guests. Local epicurean concierges lead food lovers into the heart of of the Bay Area food scene for a culinary exploration that has San Franciscans buzzing about their city's famous landmark in a whole new way. Witness for yourself the abundance and variety of fresh, organic products available for your enjoyment at the Marketplace and to take home. Please wear comfortable shoes.
Flavor experiences within the Marketplace may include:
- Celebrity chef Chris Cosentino's house cured fennel salame and freshly made mortadella at Boccalone Salumeria
- Decadent artisanal chocolates from Recchiuti Confections and Scharffen Berger where guests learn the difference between chocolatier and chocolate maker
- Award winning, organic cheese from Cowgirl Creamery
- Freshly baked Frog Hollow Farm tartlets made with seasonal fruits and vegetables grown on their farm in Brentwood, California
- Pickled vegetables from Happy Girl Kitchen Co.'s award-winning kitchen
- Herb infused salts, sugars and organic tomatoes from All Star Organics
- The best French macarons in California from Miette Patisserie
- Acme Bread Company's deliciously sweet and sour breads which so many local chefs prefer

Outside at the Farmer's Market*, your Epicurean Concierge will direct you through aisles of fresh, local bounty, introducing you to the specialty farmers and their most luscious seasonal wares - fruits, flowers, vegetables, herbs, preserves and chutneys.

Edible Excursions' SF Ferry Building and Farmers Market Excursion takes place every Tuesday from 10am to 12pm and Saturday 9:30am to 11:30am. Tickets for Tuesday excursions include pours from the Ferry Building Wine Merchant and cost $75 per person; Saturday excursions do not include wine tasting and cost $50 per person. There are only 4 voucher reservations available per tour.
* Farmer's Market days are Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday
Cancellation Policy:
All tickets are nonrefundable and can not be exchanged or rescheduled.
If the excursion fails to meet minimum enrollment (4 guests), Edible Excursions will contact guests 5 days in advance to reschedule or offer a refund.
Reservations must be made 48 hours in advance.
Excursions run rain or shine.
Everyone age 3 and up will need a ticket.
