Fall Favorites

Fall is a terrific time to tour the Ferry Building Marketplace with us.

For starters, there’s fabulous fall produce (hello figs) at the farmers market.

We also have new food partners on tour (looking at you Peaches Patties). We are huge fans of chef Shani Jones’s signature taste, Jamaican-style flaky pastry patties filled with seasoned spinach (or beef, chicken or mushrooms). These classic, hand-held packages are quintessential comfort food.

Shani is an alum of the food incubator organization La Cocina, as is another new partner in the building. At Reem’s guests enjoy an Arab flatbread known as mana’eesh. The Pali Cali comes loaded with sumac-braised chicken, caramelized onion sauce, arugula and pickled red onions.

We’d be remiss if we didn’t acknowledge a historic milestone. Happy 125th birthday to a favorite city landmark. For history buffs, check out this photographic trip down memory lane on its past.

October offers some of the best Bay Area weather, a perfect time to jump on our Ferry Building and Farmers Market Tour.

It’s also a good time to plan private holiday parties and year-end celebrations with friends, family or co-workers. We’ve hosted custom Ferry Building Tours focused around wine, cheese and charcuterie. We’ve also conducted private excursions centered on desserts and other sweet treats. And we’ve crafted other custom adventures to meet the needs and tastes of different groups.

Let us know what you have in mind. We enjoy putting together unique eating and drinking experiences for our guests.
