Ferry Building Food Tour and Alcatraz Excursion

Two entertaining and engaging historical landmarks bring you the ultimate, day-long San Francisco excursion exploring land, sea, food, and history. You'll begin with a one-hour tasting tour of the best of the Ferry Building Marketplace, where a knowledgable guide/food industry professional leads you on a historic, food-filled journey of the building's local, artisan cuisine and food purveyors. After a brief break, you'll then voyage by ferry to one of the city’s most popular attractions, Alcatraz Island, for a self-guided tour of the beautiful island and its history-packed maximum-security prison that has drawn San Francisco Bay Area tourists for decades.

Ferry Building and Farmers Market Tour

Tuesdays 10am - 12pm | Saturdays 9:30am - 11:30am
$80 per person (+ $2 booking fee))

Join the original Ferry Building Tour established in 2004 with a knowledgable food industry professional as your guide. Guests will sample handmade chocolate confections from Recchiuti and French macarons from Miette, named one of the top ten pastry shops in the world by Conde Nast Traveller. An offshoot of the high-end Slanted Door, Out the Door’s legendary Vietnamese spring rolls are a crowd favorite. Award-winning Mt. Tam cheese from Cowgirl Creamery, paired with sweet and sour loaves from Berkeley’s Acme Bread are always a hit. Additional stops may include Frog Hollow FarmSow Juice, or American Eatery.

Japantown Tour

Fridays and Saturdays, 11am - 2pm
$110 per person (+ $2 booking fee)

San Francisco is home to one of only three remaining Japantowns in the United States, and our guides, some of them born in the neighborhood and residents for decades, take total pleasure in showing it off to locals and visitors alike. Tastes may include sweet potato lattes from YakiniQ Café; onigiri (rice balls); okonomiyaki (Japanese frittata); sweet and savory mochi from one of Japantown’s first businesses, Benkyodo Confections; and authentic Masala dosa with chutney from DOSA on Fillmore. After the tour, you’ll be the expert on where to find the best bites in the neighborhood.

Mission 18th Street Tour

Thursdays 6pm - 8:30pm
$115 per person (+$2 booking fee)

Visitors line up around the corner for Bi-Rite Creamery’s handmade ice cream, but you’ll be treated like a VIP with front-of-the-line access to a scoop. You may also taste the pop-up cult sensation of Wes Burger 'N More, the best bahn mi Vietnamese sandwich you've ever had from a very unlikely location, or our favorite hidden side street wine bar. Other coveted bites may include tacos and tequila from Tacolicious and single-origin chocolate tasting from Dandelion Chocolate.

Mission 24th Street Tour

Saturdays 11am - 2pm
$115 per person (+$2 booking fee)

Boasting both traditional Latin dishes like al pastor (marinated pork) tacos and modern creations such as cinnamon horchata cupcakes, the Mission 24th Street neighborhood offers a plethora of flavors from Mexico, Honduras, El Salvador, and far beyond. You’ll try bites from newer establishments, like the sustainable Jewish deli Wise Sons, to the iconic Mexican eatery La Palma, a Mission staple since 1953. Guests also take in the colorful scenery and amazing street art and murals along the way.

SF Downtown Craft Cocktails and Hands-on Bitters Making Class

Every other Thursday 6pm - 9pm
$119 per person (+$2 booking fee)

Before you begin drinking great drinks, you'll kick off the tour with a hands-on bitters-making class! Guests will craft homemade tinctures and we'll provide flavorful recipe suggestions, but what you make is your own to take home in a gorgeous, keepsake, custom-made etched jar. After mastering some of the basic ingredients in modern mixology, our resident cocktail artist (and informed, engaged guide) Quinn leads the group on an intimate extended happy hour through Downtown San Francisco's high-end and off-menu cocktails. You will taste the most au currant evolving and innovative beverage revelations you won't find in any guide book.

Join us for a walking and learning adventures to help demystify the emerging world of medical and recreational cannabis. Engage with a carefully selected community of local experts in an intimate, accessible, and casual setting.
