Mission 24th Street Tour

D-Maize-Agua-Fresca

ABOUT THE TOUR

$119 per person (+$2 booking fee)

Boasting both traditional Latin dishes like al pastor (marinated pork) tacos and modern creations such as cinnamon horchata cupcakes, the Mission 24th Street neighborhood offers a plethora of flavors from Mexico, Honduras, El Salvador, and far beyond. You’ll try bites from newer establishments, like the sustainable Jewish deli Wise Sons, to the iconic Mexican eatery La Palma, a Mission staple since 1953.

Shake up your usual food routine and try out-of-the-ordinary eats, such as Humphry Slocombe’s bourbon-and-cornflake ice cream. As an added bonus, you’ll learn the importance of some of the area’s most iconic murals from a Precita Eyes art docent, a local arts history institution.

The Mission's vibrant, Latino 24th Street corridor is a bustling, busy business district that can feel intimidating if you don't know where to go. Our guides - all local, award-winning food writers, restaurant workers, and chefs - know the food, the neighbors, and the community. We love to share this colorful cuisine with our guests.

Be sure to also check out our second Mission District tour; Mission 18th Street.
