Bissap Baobab

An iconic San Francisco staple, Bissap Baobab was founded by Senegalese-born Marco Senghor. Since the mid-1990s, Bissap Baobab has been serving up authentic West African cuisine and Latin/Afrobeats in their restaurant meets dance hall that’s become a cultural haven in San Francisco’s vibrant Mission district.

Peaches Patties

A newer addition to the Ferry Building’s diverse roster of eateries, Peaches Patties is currently the only Jamaican restaurant in San Francisco. Founded by chef Shani Jones, Peaches Patties draws inspiration from Shani’s mother (Peaches) and her legendary homemade Jamaican beef patties.

RizeUp Bakery

San Francisco is known for its sourdough, with RizeUp standing out for representing more than just bread. Born out of Azikiwee Anderson’s quarantine-fueled passion project, RizeUp aims to bring change through their thoughtfully baked breads.
